Host and Go!
The best way to prepare for your exchange program is for your family to host a student before you go. The overall experience you will get as a host family will be very rewarding and give you more insight into how the student exchange program actually works prior to your own experience overseas. Your family can also host while you are overseas.
STS offers a 10% discount on the program fee for hosting, payable as a rebate at the end of your hosting program. Visit our page Program Fees January and August 2013 for our Host & Go program fees.
STS is looking for host families for students arriving from Europe in January and July 2013.
If your family starts hosting from January 2013, you will be eligible for the Host and Go program starting in August 2013, January or August 2014.

Host family
STS will take care of all school arrangements
and you will have the support of a local STS Representative.
As a volunteer family no payment is received, a common rule for all exchange organisations, to ensure that host families really want to share their lives with a student for the cultural exchange experience.
