About East Coast Australia
After a journey across half the globe an unforgettable summer adventure awaits your students. During four weeks in Australia they will get to know this fantastic country, its animal life, nature and culture.
We go on many interesting and fun-filled excursions like for instance to Blue Mountains west of Sydney. Here you can see enormous eucalyptus forests with flocks of cockatoos and other parrots. We visit underground caves and go to a village in the mountains where we will see what it was like during the goldrush over 100 years ago.
Students will stay in and around the seething city of Sydney, which is the oldest and possibly the most exciting city in Australia. Here many fascinating experiences awaits them. They get to go to Sydney Aquarium, where sharks and sting rays swim around in enormous pools. We also take a ferry to the northern part of Sydney to visit Taronga Zoo, where we may pat kangaroos and koala bears and learn about other unique animals. Naturally, we also visit the famous Bondi and Manly beaches.
One weekend students have the chance to go to the capital of Australia, Canberra. Here students can walk on the grass on the rooftop of the parliament building. We also visit the embassy area where every country has built its embassy in its country's specific architectural style.
