Classic French course 

Our classic French course on the French Riviera is so much more than a language course. You’ll get the perfect mix of classroom lessons, free-time activities and exciting excursions, so you’ll not only learn French, you’ll also grow as a person and learn things you never expected to. Lessons are fun and educational thanks to experienced teachers, and they’re all given in a beautiful modern school. Together with your new friends and dedicated leaders, you’ll get the perfect blend of lessons and a beach holiday. From lazy days and barbecue on the beach to sports days and treasure hunts. The list of things to do and learn on the French Riviera is endless, so don’t pass up your chance to share this incredible experience together with your new friends from around the world.

Your language course with STS

  • Tuition: About 15 hours per week including oral workshops.
  • Class size: Max 15 students per class, a mix of international students from over 20 countries.
  • Level: From A1 to C2 on CEFR (Common European Framework)
  • Teaching method: We teach all levels, from beginner to advanced levels, and our courses are taught by qualified teachers with academic certificates. They all use varied lesson plans, specially designed to develop students’ skills at different levels.
  • Material: Exclusive educational material included in program fee
  • Initial test: Initial to assess each student’s language level
  • Diploma: End of course Academic Report with assessment according to CEFR and Certificate of Attendance

Activities included

Nothing says fun like a language trip to the South of France! Your language trip on the French Riviera will be full of fun activities and excursions where we’ll discover all the Riviera has to offer. You’ll get to go on both full-day and half-day excursions as well as participate in tons of awesome events on campus. How about a day trip to Monaco or get adventurous with treetop adventure trails, trampolines, the Aquasplash water park, bowling, sailing, sports tournaments and so much more?

Weekday activities are scheduled after your lessons, and on the weekends, you’ll have the chance to go on full and half-day excursions. All activities are designed for you to practice and improve your French alongside new friends. The team of leaders is on hand 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and they supervise pool games, parties and beach excursions.

Please note that different activities are organised every week, so what you’ll get to do and see depends on when you come and how many weeks you choose to be here.

Dates & prices

Flight and train tickets are not included in the price. You are responsible for booking your own transportation to and from your destination. This allows you to choose whichever travel option best suits your needs. You can book your flights as soon as STS has confirmed your booking with a 'parental agreement' and this has been signed by you and returned to STS.

STS will take care of all transportation from and to the airport or train station at your destination, so it’s very important that you share your arrival and departure times with us. When travelling to the French Riviera, we want you to arrive in Nice airport or Antibes train station between 08:00-20:00 on the day your course starts. Book your return flight from the same place you arrive. Departure time can be flexible, but preferably between 8am and 8pm on the day the course ends.

Keep in mind that arrival day is Sunday and departure day is Saturday.
