Booking

Book your trip directly here on our website, or if you would like to chat with us, book a meeting here. You can easily choose how many weeks you want to be travelling and your preferred accommodation on the course page of your choice. As soon as your booking fee is registered with us, you have secured your spot and can start planning for an amazing summer!

Payment

The first payment of 200 EUR is a booking fee, plus the cost of any re-booking & cancellation protection if you have chosen to add that. The booking fee is charged immediately when booking online, and is included in the displayed total course price.
The cost of the re-booking & cancellation protection will be additional to the total price, and costs 75 EUR.

By booking and paying the booking fee, you and your parents ensure that you have read and agreed to STS General Terms and Conditions.

The remaining cost for your trip will be invoiced 60 days before departure and paid no later than 40 days before departure. If you have booked your trip with a discount, the amount will be discounted on the final invoice.

Trips that take place during other seasons than the summer might have different payment schedules.

Before Departure

You will be invited to a departure meeting in the spring, where a representative from STS will tell you all about the youth and language travel process, what to think about before you go and other useful information.

Included in the price

• Transfer from at to the airport at destination
• Accomodation and all meals (unless other is specified on the course page)
• Full schedule with activities and excursions. See examples of specific activities on each course page.
• Pre-departure meeting
• STS Certificate of Achievement

Additional costs

Flight or train tickets are not included, unless specified on the course page. STS will not be responsible for costs incurred for transportation due to travel restrictions. STS will confirm the travel dates minimum 30 days before departure. Additional currency surcharge may be added. On some destinations, some meals are not included. Pocket money for shopping, snacks, souvenirs etc. A re-booking fee of 125 EUR will be applied if you need to make changes to your booking and have not purchased any re-booking & cancellation protection.

Extra services

Re-booking & Cancellation protection, 75 EUR

If you need to make changes to the dates of your existing booking, our re-booking & cancellation protection will allow you to re-book without additional costs. If you, due to illness or injury within 30 days before departure cannot travel, this protection will also give you full compensation of the program fee, including booking fee but excluding the cost for the actual re-booking & cancellation protection.

The protection must be added directly when you book your trip, it cannot be added later.

If you are travelling with a friend and you both have brought the re-booking & cancellation protection, it also applies if one of you are injured or get sick in a way that prevents you from travelling as planned.

Cancellations with full repayment (excluding the cost for the actual re-booking & cancellation protection) is validated by a medical certificate.

Extra excursions

At some of our destinations you can add special excursions or a trip to a special location. Read more on the course page of your destination to find out the options on your trip.

The extra activities that you can’t book online will be available to book later on or booked and paid for when you are on sight.

Trinity Exam (Oxford)

If you want to validate your English language skills with a certification, this is perfect for you. Come back home with an internationally proven certification and boost your CV for your college or job application.

Travel insurance

It is very important to feel safe when you are travelling, and your safety is our top priority. If anything, unsuspected happens while you are abroad, a good travel insurance will be your best investment.
We can recommend an insurance specially designed for Language travel that covers both your school time, excursions, and activities.

The insurance can be added when you place your booking online, or later if you prefer.
