Att vara v\u00e4rdmamma \u00e4r n\u00e5got av det b\u00e4sta som finns!<\/h1>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

High school-utbytet \u00e4r inte bara ett stort \u00e4ventyr f\u00f6r v\u00e5ra elever. V\u00e5ra v\u00e4rdfamiljer, som g\u00f6r utbytena m\u00f6jliga, upplever ocks\u00e5 p\u00e5 djupet den kraft som utbytet inneb\u00e4r. Ivy \u00e5terv\u00e4nde till Nya Zeeland f\u00f6rra veckan efter att ha tillbringat sitt utbyte i Sverige. Det h\u00e4r \u00e4r en del av hennes v\u00e4rdmamma Jeanettes avskedsbrev.<\/em><\/p>\n

"Jaha, d\u00e5 var vi d\u00e5 h\u00e4r.<\/p>\n

Idag ska du \u00e5ka hem till Nya Zeeland och jag gr\u00e5ter \u00f6gonen ur mig. Det kommer att bli tomt utan dig, och jag kommer att sakna dig s\u00e5, s\u00e5 mycket.<\/p>\n

Men jag gr\u00e5ter ocks\u00e5 f\u00f6r att jag \u00e4r s\u00e5 stolt. Stolt \u00f6ver oss alla. Stolt \u00f6ver att du var s\u00e5 oerh\u00f6rt modig och l\u00e4mnade din trygghet hemma och \u00e5kte l\u00e5ngt, l\u00e5ngt bort f\u00f6r att prova n\u00e5got annat. Stolt \u00f6ver att du utmanade dig sj\u00e4lv varje dag i 3 m\u00e5nader. Stolt \u00f6ver dina f\u00f6r\u00e4ldrar som sl\u00e4ppte iv\u00e4g dig och litade p\u00e5 att jag skulle ta hand om dig.<\/p>\n

Jag \u00e4r \u00e4ven stolt \u00f6ver mig sj\u00e4lv som v\u00e5gade utmana vardagspusslet och stolt \u00f6ver min familj som inte protesterade, utan sa JA i samma \u00f6gonblick som jag kom med id\u00e9n. Stolt \u00f6ver rektor Stefan och alla l\u00e4rare p\u00e5 \u00d6cker\u00f6 Seglande Gymnasium f\u00f6r att de var nyfikna och \u00f6ppna. Stolt \u00f6ver dina klasskompisar som v\u00e4lkomnade dig, bj\u00f6d in dig p\u00e5 middag redan efter andra skoldagen och sedan, helt naturligt, l\u00e4t dig bli en i g\u00e4nget!<\/p>\n

Jag gr\u00e5ter ocks\u00e5 av tacksamhet. Tacksam f\u00f6r att du l\u00e5tit oss l\u00e4ra k\u00e4nna dig, l\u00e5tit oss komma n\u00e4ra och delat ditt liv med oss. Tacksam f\u00f6r din \u00e4rlighet och \u00f6ppenhet. Tacksam f\u00f6r din tillit. Tacksam f\u00f6r att du har l\u00e4rt mig om livet i allm\u00e4nhet. Tacksam f\u00f6r alla fina sm\u00e5 stunder – soffh\u00e4ng med serier, iskalla havsbad i november, diskussionerna om politik, samh\u00e4lle, skillnader, likheter och s\u00e5 mycket mer. Tacksam f\u00f6r att du respekterat min r\u00e4dsla f\u00f6r att n\u00e5got skulle h\u00e4nda dig och d\u00e4rmed accepterade de n\u00f6dv\u00e4ndiga reglerna. Tacksam f\u00f6r att du n\u00e4stan gjorde mig till vegan. Tacksam f\u00f6r alla skratt. Tacksam f\u00f6r att du har berikat mitt liv p\u00e5 ett s\u00e5 fantastiskt s\u00e4tt.<\/p>\n

Det h\u00e4r har varit en k\u00e4nslom\u00e4ssig berg- och dalbana som jag \u00e4r s\u00e5 glad \u00f6ver att ha varit med om. Och f\u00f6rhoppningsvis kommer att forts\u00e4tta vara med om.<\/p>\n
