Du f\u00e5r uppleva en massa roliga saker, f\u00e5r en massa h\u00e4rliga minnen och du l\u00e4r dig ett nytt spr\u00e5k. Dessutom l\u00e4r du k\u00e4nna nya m\u00e4nniskor och en ny kultur.<\/p>\n\n<p>Men det kan ocks\u00e5 inneb\u00e4ra att du ibland m\u00f6ter saker som du inte \u00e4r van vid h\u00e4r hemma. Hos din v\u00e4rdfamilj kanske du f\u00e5r hj\u00e4lpa till mer hemma \u00e4n vad du \u00e4r van vid, och du kanske m\u00e5ste vara hemma tidigare p\u00e5 kv\u00e4llarna. Maten kan vara annorlunda och du kanske m\u00e5ste be om lov du \u00e5ker i v\u00e4g p\u00e5 andra aktiviteter. Men det \u00e4r ocks\u00e5 det som \u00e4r charmen, att alla l\u00e4nder har olika kulturer och det \u00e4r precis det som du kommer att f\u00e5 uppleva under ditt utbytes\u00e5r.<\/p>\n\n<p>Genom att ha en \u00f6ppen dialog med din v\u00e4rdfamilj och ta reda p\u00e5 vad som f\u00f6rv\u00e4ntas av dig, kommer det bli f\u00e4rre missf\u00f6rst\u00e5nd och kulturkrocken blir mindre. V\u00e4rdfamiljen \u00e4r d\u00e4r f\u00f6r dig och de har ett ansvar f\u00f6r dig under hela din vistelse. Genom en t\u00e4t dialog kommer ni f\u00f6rst\u00e5 varandra och tillsammans kommer ni att hitta en bra v\u00e4g fram\u00e5t, \u00e4ven om det inte alltid \u00e4r samma regler som du har h\u00e4r hemma.<\/p>\n\n<h2>Att bo i v\u00e4rdfamilj<\/h2>\n\n<p>Oavsett vart i v\u00e4rlden du \u00e5ker p\u00e5 utbyte kommer du att bo hos en lokal v\u00e4rdfamilj. Det kan k\u00e4nnas lite pirrigt att \u00e5ka till en ny plats och bo hos m\u00e4nniskor du aldrig har tr\u00e4ffat, men faktum \u00e4r att v\u00e4rdfamiljen ofta blir den mest minnesv\u00e4rda och meningsfulla delen av hela utbytet. D\u00e4rf\u00f6r v\u00e4ljer vi noggrant ut v\u00e5ra v\u00e4rdfamiljer och vi g\u00f6r v\u00e5rt b\u00e4sta f\u00f6r att hitta r\u00e4tt familj f\u00f6r dig, ofta i samarbete med lokala organisationer och medarbetare i omr\u00e5det.<\/p>\n\n<p>Alla v\u00e4rdfamiljer ser olika ut, precis som h\u00e4r hemma. Det finns sportiga familjer och familjer som \u00e4gnar mycket tid \u00e5t huset och tr\u00e4dg\u00e5rden. Det finns familjer som \u00e4r engagerade i volont\u00e4rarbete eller i den lokala f\u00f6rsamlingen, och det finns v\u00e4rdfamiljer med och utan barn.  Men gemensamt f\u00f6r dom alla \u00e4r att de alltid har ett genuint intresse f\u00f6r sina studenter, och din ankomst kommer med stor sannolikhet vara b\u00f6rjan p\u00e5 en livsl\u00e5ng v\u00e4nskap.<\/p>\n\n<p>K\u00e4nn dig som hemma. Kommunicera. Hj\u00e4lp till med hush\u00e5llssysslorna och respektera hemmets regler p\u00e5 samma s\u00e4tt som hemma hos din egen familj. Det du f\u00e5r tillbaka \u00e4r en unik inblick i en ny livsstil och kultur, som skiljer sig fr\u00e5n massturismen du normalt sett f\u00e5r ta del av n\u00e4r du \u00e4r ute och reser. Kanske vill du uppleva Thanksgiving i USA, afternoon tea i Storbritannien eller vill du se en fotbollsmatch i Italien? Varje land har sin egen charm och vi kan lova dig att ni kommer att f\u00e5 massor av h\u00e4rliga minnen tillsammans!<\/p>\n\n<p>V\u00e4rdfamiljen har ansvaret f\u00f6r dig under hela din vistelse och st\u00e5r f\u00f6r mat och uppeh\u00e4lle. Andra kostnader som hygienartiklar, busskort, fritidsaktiviteter, resor, kl\u00e4der med mera st\u00e5r du f\u00f6r sj\u00e4lv. Det \u00e4r v\u00e4rdfamiljen som best\u00e4mmer saker som n\u00e4r du ska vara hemma och vad du f\u00f6rv\u00e4ntas hj\u00e4lpa till med i hemmet. De kommer att uppskatta ditt deltagande i olika aktiviteter och familjetraditioner, men givetvis kommer du att ha tid f\u00f6r egna fritidsaktiviteter ocks\u00e5.
