F\u00f6r att du ska f\u00e5 den perfekta introduktionen startar ditt utbytes\u00e5r p\u00e5 n\u00e4stan alla destinationer med STS Welcome Camp, som ing\u00e5r i programavgiften. Det \u00e4r en sorts \u201dmjuklandning\u201d, d\u00e4r du tr\u00e4ffar andra STS-studenter och l\u00e4r dig mycket om vad du kan f\u00f6rv\u00e4nta dig av det \u00e4ventyr som precis ska b\u00f6rja. Det blir den b\u00e4sta t\u00e4nkbara starten p\u00e5 ditt nya \u00e4ventyr d\u00e4r du f\u00e5r chansen att l\u00e4ra k\u00e4nna en massa andra studenter fr\u00e5n hela v\u00e4rden som ocks\u00e5 ska g\u00f6ra sitt utbytes\u00e5r.<\/p>\n\n

Alla v\u00e5ra Welcome camps \u00e4ger rum i en v\u00e4lk\u00e4nd st\u00f6rre stad och p\u00e5g\u00e5r i n\u00e5gra dagar. I vilket land och vilken stad det blir f\u00f6r just dig beror p\u00e5 vart du ska g\u00f6ra ditt utbytes\u00e5r. Men det du vet s\u00e4kert redan nu \u00e4r att du kommer att delta i intressanta workshoppar och roliga aktiviteter om olika \u00e4mnen som kan vara till hj\u00e4lp f\u00f6r dig under ditt utbyte. Som tillexempel hur du hanterar heml\u00e4ngtan, hur det \u00e4r att anpassa sig till ett nytt hem, vad du ska g\u00f6ra om du beh\u00f6ver hj\u00e4lp eller st\u00f6d med mera.<\/p>\n\n

Du kommer att utforska staden du befinner dig i, genom att \u00e5ka p\u00e5 sightseeing och se ett antal ber\u00f6mda platser. Allt detta g\u00f6r du tillsammans med v\u00e5ra andra STS-studenter, som ocks\u00e5 befinner sig i b\u00f6rjan av sina egna \u00e4ventyr. Detta \u00e4r ett minne f\u00f6r livet \u2013 och det perfekta s\u00e4ttet att starta ditt \u00e5r utomlands p\u00e5. Efter STS Welcome Camp \u00e4r du redo att resa till din slutdestination, tr\u00e4ffa din v\u00e4rdfamilj och g\u00f6ra dig hemmastadd.<\/p>\n\n

\u201dWelcome Camp var helt klart en av h\u00f6jdpunkterna och en helt fantastisk b\u00f6rjan p\u00e5 mitt \u00e5r som utbytesstudent. Jag h\u00e5ller fortfarande kontakten med m\u00e5nga av personerna fr\u00e5n l\u00e4gret.
