With its incredible beach and festivities all around the city, Brighton is the perfect destination for our popular language trips, and you’re guaranteed an unforgettable summer.
English Course and Fun Activities
On our language trips, classroom time is mixed with fun free-time activities. You’ll go to school three hours a day, Monday to Friday, and have a jam-packed schedule full of awesome free-time activities and excursions. The majority of the time in the classroom will be spent on practical exercises, like group projects and role-playing, and because all the classes have students from different countries, you’ll make new friends from all over the world while improving your English.
Our language courses in the UK are given through our partner, EC English. EC English has over 50 years of experience and is accredited by the British Council.
Your language course with STS
- Tuition: 15 hours per week (may vary, contact STS for more details)
- Class size: Max 17 students per class, a mix of international students from over 20 countries.
- Level: From A1 to C2 on CEFR (Common European Framework)
- Teaching method: We teach all levels, from beginner to advanced levels, and our courses are taught by qualified teachers with academic certificates. They all use varied lesson plans, specially designed to develop students’ skills at different levels.
- Material: Exclusive educational material included in program fee
- Initial test: Initial to assess each student’s language level
- Diploma: End of course Academic Report with assessment according to CEFR and Certificate of Attendance
Activities included
Our language trips in Brighton don’t just include English lessons, they also include tons of fun activities for you and your new friends. All activities and excursions throughout your trip are led by dedicated and experienced leaders. Different activities are organised every week, so what you’ll get to do and see depends on how many weeks you choose to be there.
Weekday activities are scheduled after your lessons, but on the weekends, you’ll have the chance to go on full and half-day excursions. All activities are designed for you to practice and improve your English by hanging out with your new friends and participating in different activities, fun competitions, exciting excursions and various sports events.
On your first night in Brighton, we’ll have a welcome activity where you’ll get the chance to meet teachers and the other students and to get all the information you need to make your language trip the best it can be.

Dates & prices
Flight and train tickets are not included in the price. You are responsible for booking your own transportation to and from your destination. This allows you to choose whichever travel option best suits your needs. STS will take care of all transportation from and to the airport or train station at your destination, so it’s very important that you share your arrival and departure times with us.
We request that you arrive between 8:00 and 20:00 on the day your course begins. If you choose to fly to Brighton, please book your flight to London Gatwick. Transfer to London Gatwick is included in the price and the airport is close to Brighton, making the transfer easy for the student. (If you book your flight to another airport in London, a transfer fee will be charged).
