We are looking for future host families!

We are looking for host families that would be interested in opening their homes to host for 3, 5, or 10 months. The students (15–18 years old) arrive just before the start of the high school semesters (fall or spring). Grab the chance to get to know another culture and enrich your life with a new family member and a life-long friend. You will gain new perspectives and create unforgettable memories together!

How it works to be a host family

1. You make an application on the website (or call us).
2. We contact you and make a home visit.
3. You are presented with a number of students.
4. You choose a student whom you think will fit in with your family.

Since 1958 we have made it possible for over 1,200,000 youngsters to discover the world and themselves. This couldn't be done without our amazing host families who open their homes to enable this fantastic phenomenon that we call cultural exchange. We at STS organize everything regarding the student’s preparations, school placement, visa, insurance, and travel details. You will have a local contact person dedicated to you and your student.
